Why You Shouldn’t Neglect Your Google Business Profile

Google Business Profiles are easy-to-use tools that organizations and businesses, making it easier for them to manage their online presence on Google. It is free to get things set up, and it can do some wonderful things for your business. You don’t want to ignore those benefits. Check out some of the ways that creating and maintaining a Google Business Profile can help.

Google Gets You More Visibility and Your Profile Gives You Control

When you have a presence across Google, including on Maps and Search, it makes it easier to find your company. While all companies with websites would be on Google technically, you have more control when you have a Google Business Profile. You get to manage the information including hours, street address, and website.

If you didn’t have a profile, you wouldn’t be able to make changes to your business when it shows up in those locations. This means that there could be incorrect information, which may mean you are losing out on some business. For example, what if your hours have changed or if you had to change phone numbers?

This also allows for more consistency across Google. It ensures the information is the same when it shows up under your Google Business site, your website, etc.

Better Customer Interactions

When you have these profiles, you can read and respond to customer reviews. This increased interaction can help to connect you with your customers better. It shows that you are listening to what people have to say. If you don’t have a business profile, those reviews, including the negative ones, are going to go unchallenged. At least with a profile, you can talk with the customers and work things out.

One of the other things you can do is add photos to your business profile. While this might not seem important, it is. You get to control the images that are added to your business, and you can show off the best of your business in these photos. When a business adds photos, it can garner more requests for directions, and it gets more clicks to your site.
